‘There Is Always Hope’ Bee With Balloon is my little homage to the Emotive Painting by the Infamous, talented Graffiti Artist, Banksy, and signifies my hope that the future for us all is brighter, especially for our beautiful wee bees!

As always, nothing is ever planned or thought out with my art, I just get an urge and create!

Inspired in the middle of the night to create a humorous, tongue- in-cheek Bumble Bee version of Banksy’s  ‘There Is Always Hope’ aka ‘Girl With Balloon’ I felt compelled to create this heartfelt piece the following day!

My art never reflects my political views, I simply paint from the heart, but this year I have become more and more spiritual for many reasons and although this painting started out as an insomniac Migglet’s supposedly humorous painting as a hats off to the most widely recognisable artist of this century, as I started creating this bumble bee, it became something quite different!

I always paint what I am feeling, and in the midst of all that is surreal and unsettling this year 2020, for me this tender and gentle wee bee now signifies hope for the future for us all, especially our dear humble bumble bees who keep us ALL alive and kicking! And I for one shall be glad to kick 2020 into touch!
