I felt something akin to a butterfly unfurling, beginning to emerge from her cocoon with this piece, her soul is bringing her to life and her dance will be the freedom she can express from within.
My third painting for 2021, I think this is quite possibly my favourite painting to date, maybe she is unravelling as I am too, revealing all that lies beneath in it’s honesty and raw emotion?
I ‘felt’ every brush stroke as she emerged in front of me and as so often happens, I painted her with my fingers too, and I loved every single second!
There is light, love, heart & soul and texture within this painting, and I do hope you can feel it too?
