From my Charcoal series of artworks.

Created with vigour and my beloved Extra Large Charcoals, I wanted to capture the spirit of this wild but gentle beast with lively, bold strokes on the canvas.

‘Lungta’  which literally translates as ‘Wind Horse’ is a mythical Tibetan creature symbolising the inner air or wind of the body.

A symbol of the human soul, I can almost feel the energy and life of this beautiful soul, graceful and, I hope, peaceful in spite of all it’s movement.
