‘Love at first sight’ Print is a print from my impressionistic oil pastel painting of a glamorous dear friend Sammie who is also a model.
The elegant gown she was wearing lent itself beautifully to the joyful vibrant oil pastel colours I used that seem to sing and have a life and texture all of their own!

*If you look closely or zoom in, you may just be able to see the natural flecks, fibres and textures on the recycled paper I used for ‘Love at first sight’ and the rest of my Oil Pastel series of paintings.
These paper textures are clearly visible on my Prints and I believe they add another gentle dimension, rather than just a flat plain grey background.
