My first painting of 2021, this is a vibrant Impressionistic Contemporary Painting of a Young Dancer.

There is a sense of real freedom in this painting, her body is barely visible as she leaps across the vibrant hot colours of the background of the piece. I am a passionate artist and the beautiful reds and hints of hot pink are such strong colours, I launched bravery and passion all over the canvas!

Dancers need a great deal of space in order to ‘fly’ and I believe we ALL do, now more than ever. And we WILL do! There is always hope for the future and I do hope she represents that, and more?!
